Our Pod Design aims to provide a holistic design solution for full-scale Hyperloop. It includes a technical research summary, detailed designs, CFD and FEA simulation results for all sub-systems and motion simulations for certain sub-systems. Furthermore, multiple safety features, human factor solutions and hypothetical fabrication/build plans are discussed.

Aura’s Pod is based on the concept of magnetic levitation to achieve speeds up to 300 mph. The pod structure is constructed with light materials. The sub-systems are equipped with a ‘Plug N Play’ feature for easy modification. The hardware selection is optimized with an objective of feasibility and passenger safety.

A sleek drag profile and passive magnetic levitation allow for a highly efficient design with extreme speeds made safe through contactless stability control and a unique two-stage braking system.
